| All of our
Border Collie fosters are in homes, not a
shelter, therefore, they get all the comforts,
food and shelter as other dogs in the home.
However, since no expense
is spared for
vet care, what we are always in need of is
money. The adoption donation rarely covers
the
vet costs on a Border Collie.

|
An example of some of
the
costs, even after a rescue discount are:
heartworm test: $20-25
vaccinations and fecal: $50-100
spay/neuter: $50-150
hip x-rays: $100-150
teeth cleaning: $100-150
heartworm treatment: $300-600
Orthopedic surgery: $300-4000
